We are excited to partner with the City of Onkaparinga for the opening of their refurbished facility in Noarlunga. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Lifeguard team.

About the role

As a Pool Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming aquatic environment. Your primary focus will be to monitor pool areas and respond effectively to any incidents or emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pool areas using active scanning techniques
• Enforce pool regulations and provide safety education to patrons
• Respond promptly to emergencies and perform rescues as required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and facility safety
• Deliver professional and friendly customer service

• A strong awareness of safety protocols and risk management
• The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
• A commitment to collaborative teamwork and exceptional customer service

Qualifications and requirements

Successful candidates must hold (or be willing to obtain) the following:

• Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Provide First Aid and CPR
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• Child Safe Environments training
